Your file stays
with you.

PageCaliper reads PDF geometry in your browser. It does not send your document or its filename to a server.

When you choose a file

The browser reads the selected file into memory. A local Web Worker inspects its page boundaries and returns numbers for the report. The tool does not upload document bytes, filenames, or report contents. It does not store PDFs in localStorage, IndexedDB, or cookies.

“Clear report” terminates processing and removes the current report from the interface. Closing the tab also releases the page’s memory. Downloaded CSVs remain wherever your browser saves them; delete those yourself if needed.

Ordinary website requests

Your browser downloads HTML, scripts, styles, and images from our Cloudflare-hosted website. Trying or downloading a sample requests that public PDF from the site. These ordinary requests can expose connection information such as your IP address and browser headers to the hosting provider. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

We do not include advertising scripts, cross-site trackers, document analytics, or account forms in this version. Browser extensions and software on your device operate outside this tool’s control.

Scope
